DSK Engineering provides specialist engineering oversight supporting the manufacture, testing, and commissioning of seven remote handling hoist systems for the European Spallation Source (ESS) nuclear research facility.

Daniel Kelly originally served as Technical Lead during the design phase of the hoist systems prior to founding DSK Engineering, providing continuity of design intent as the project progresses into manufacture.

In this role, DSK acts as Crane Specialist Consultant, supporting manufacturing teams, reviewing design changes, and ensuring the safety-critical lifting systems remain compliant with project requirements and applicable lifting standards.
